Meet Your Hosts

Coleton Evans

Coleton is a second-year medical student at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine. He was born in Lubbock, Texas but spent all of his educational years in Flower Mound, Texas. In 2023, Coleton graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in biology. Coleton has grown up in the Methodist Church for as long as he can remember and currently serves as one of the Simple Worship music leaders at Arborlawn United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He has always found comfort in worshipping and sharing the joy of the Lord through music, but he is finding another passion through conversations and discussion in community with others. He is excited to share his journey of faith, stories and endeavors of medical school, and any wisdom that he may impart upon the listeners of Prescribing Faith!

Iza Zabaneh

Iza Zabaneh was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is an alum of Texas Christian University. He is currently an M.D. candidate at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas — a proud horned frog for life. Inspired by his father, a board-certified nephrologist, he is thankful for the opportunity to also pursue a career in medicine and commit his life purpose towards caring for others. With Jordanian roots, Iza grew up speaking both Arabic and English. Having traveled to 12 countries, he aspires to continue exploring the world and experiencing different cultures. His greatest mission in life is to know God and make God known. Since childhood, he has always felt a strong sense of personal relationship with Jesus, and he gets most excited about sharing the heart of God with others through Bible studies, meaningful conversations, and now Prescribing Faith.
